Michael Woywod named Director
EPHRATA , WA - Grant PUD Management is pleased to announce that Michael Woywod is the utility’s new Director of Human Resources and Support Services. This position oversees the areas of human resources, public affairs, facilities, procurement, warehousing, transportation and safety.
“Michael was a natural candidate for the position,” said Joe Lukas, Grant PUD’s assistant general manager. “He has a vast array of experience that will greatly benefit the utility. In his new position, Michael will help to further support the goals and objectives defined in the District’s strategic plan.”
Woywod comes to Grant PUD with more than 20 years experience managing similar areas of responsibility. He has held a number of senior management positions with organizations including the National Aeronautics & Space Administration and the United States Military. Prior to accepting the job at Grant PUD, Woywod served as the director of facilities and material management at the National Archives & Records Administration.
“I’m extremely excited about the opportunity to come to Grant County,” said Woywod. “I look forward to the challenges presented and the opportunities to learn.”
Woywod moves to Grant County with his wife Cher. His first day will be Friday, July 28.

Grant County Public Utility District owns and operates the two-dam Priest Rapids Project on the Columbia River in central Washington.
