BudgetPay
It’s predictable, simple and smart!

What is BudgetPay?
BudgetPay is an easy and convenient payment option.  With BudgetPay you know exactly how much your electric bill is going to be each and every month – just like a car loan, rent or mortgage payment.

How BudgetPay Works
Seasonal temperatures vary significantly in Grant County.  It’s not uncommon to see winter bills four to five times higher than spring and fall bills.  BudgetPay levels out the peaks and valleys making it easy to budget your monthly Grant PUD electric bill.

Using account history on your residence, your energy usage is calculated and divided into equal monthly payments and that is the amount you pay every month.

Who Uses BudgetPay?
BudgetPay works for all Grant PUD customers.

  • Senior citizens and others on fixed incomes find the levelized billing very helpful in managing their electric bill with other financial obligations.
  • Busy families like the convenience of knowing their electric bill payment and combine it with SurePay.

  • Financially savvy customers enjoy the freedom it gives them in managing their money in a way that works best for them.

  • Many combine the ease and predictability of BudgetPay with SurePay.  With our SurePay program, your bill is automatically paid from your bank account or credit card.  Ask about SurePay when you talk to a Customer Service Representative about BudgetPay.

Any Grant PUD customer can use SurePay, our convenient automatic bill payment service.

  • SurePay automatically deducts your monthly bill from your bank account or credit card.

  • We will continue to provide a statement each month for your review and records.

  • Sign up for BudgetPay too! We’ll deduct the same amount each month, ending seasonal surprises.
