Fiber Optic Network
Grant PUD’s wholesale fiber optic distribution system is at work bringing high-speed technology to Grant County schools, medical facilities, businesses and homes.
In January 2007, following a nearly two year curtailment in expansion of the fiber network, Grant PUD Commissioners directed staff to study available fiber technologies and financial options for expansion of Grant PUD’s wholesale fiber optic system.
Grant PUD continues to expand fiber optic service to homes and businesses which are located within "fiber ready" areas of the county.

UPDATE: Sepember 5, 2008
Grant PUD is currently expanding its fiber optic network to Desert Aire, Mattawa and Warden. Fiber services will be available in these communities by December, 2008. To view a map showing where services will be available, click on a town name below.
